Jo Elizabeth May is a London based artist, workshop facilitator and puppet maker. 

I trained in Puppetry at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Along with puppets for my own work I have also made and repaired puppets with Nick Barnes, Sebastian Mayer, Judith Hope, The National and Samuel Wyer. My most recent commissions have been a series of puppets for the Zoological Society of London.

My other artistic practices explore printmaking, paint, ink and natural pigments. My work often has a focus around the natural world and outside of working in the creative field I also a wildlife conservation educator which heavily influences my practice. I am currently an Artist Ambassador for the Old Operating Theatre Museum and Herb Garrett.
